yeahyeahyeah is a ‘conversational’ text messaging service designed to respond to users’ questions to, and requests for information from, celebrities, brands and other partners.

The services we offer are:

Text and Respond

When using the yeahyeahyeah SMS chat service, you will receive a message only after you send one. The number of messages you receive will therefore depend on the number of messages you send. If you do not send messages, you will not receive messages. All messages are standard rate.

For some programs it may be possible to request a text message be sent to a mobile phone from a web-based form. In these cases, you will be asked for a name or your telephone number so the reciever, if not you, knows who sent it.

Regular Alerts

In order to receive SMS alerts you must opt-in to each regular alert service. The number of messages you receive will depend on how many different regular alert services you subscribe to. Alert services have a maximum frequency of 1 alert per day. All messages are standard rate.

To opt-out of an alert service text STOP + alertname or UNSUBSCRIBE + alertname to 443443.

What Does Standard Rate Mean?

If you engage in a conversation via SMS or text, yeahyeahyeah makes no charge but your carrier may charge you standard rate message fees.

Opting-Out

We want opting-out to be simple and straightforward. To opt-out of all yeahyeahyeah services, users should text STOP ALL or UNSUBSCRIBE ALL to 443443. This will result in the deletion of the user's telephone number from our database.

To opt out of individual alert services, users text STOP [content name] or UNSUBSCRIBE [alert name] to 443443. For example to opt-out of Motley Crue alerts, text UNSUBSCRIBE CRUE to 443443.

Since QUIT and END are common computer commands for ‘terminate the program’ as opposed to ‘terminate the account’, when these words are texted on their own we interpret them in this way, ending the current conversation but not terminating or suspending the user's account. STOP ALL or UNSUBSCRIBE ALL will result in the users' mobile phone records being deleted.
